Behavioural Insight and Career Coaching

This component of the Continuous Professional Development Programme transforms behavioural assessment data into actionable insights, supporting informed career and educational decisions. Each assessment process is tailored to the specific vacancy and candidate profile, as determined by the employing client.

1. Behavioural Insight:

  • All assessments and feedback sessions adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines set by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Confidentiality is maintained at all times between the service provider and the client.
  • In instances where the behavioural professional is sourced externally (i.e., not from the Office Of Talent’s vetted partner list), the provider must be an HPCSA registered professional or institution, ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld.
  • All candidates who progress to the behavioural assessment stage are entitled to receive individualised feedback and a formal report—regardless of whether they are ultimately appointed.
  • For candidates who are not selected, feedback and reports will be issued after the appointment of the successful candidate has been confirmed.

2. Career Coaching Eligibility:

Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for coaching services:

  • Successful completion of the recruitment process.
  • Signed employment agreement with the designated client.
  • Continued employment with the client for a minimum of four (4) months.

Coaching Delivery:

  • Sessions are facilitated by certified psychologists or career coaching professionals from the Office Of Talent's vetted partner network.
  • All coaching is governed by HPCSA’s ethical framework, with strict confidentiality maintained between the candidate and their appointed coach or counselor.
  • Should a candidate opt for a counselor outside the approved network, the provider must meet the minimum HPCSA regulatory requirements.

Session Structure:

  • Candidates may receive up to 30 sessions, based on their salary bracket at the time of placement.
  • Coaching services are provided as a one-time benefit and are non-transferable.
  • Participation is contingent on successful placement and maintaining continuous employment with the designated client for at least four (4) months.
